Major road accident: Uncontrolled truck hits scooter, 3 girl students die tragically

Three minor students riding a scooter were killed after being hit by a truck on Saturday in the Hyderabad police station area of ​​Lakhimpur Kheri district in Uttar Pradesh, police said. According to police, the deceased students have been identified as Daraksha (18), her niece Khadija (13), and her friend Sahiba (18), residents of Bilhari village in the Neemgaon police station area. 

The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon on the Gola-Pilibhit National Highway near Ahmednagar village when a truck coming from the opposite direction hit their scooter. Daraksha and her friend Sahiba, both graduate students, were returning home with their niece Khadija from Sansarpur village, where Khadija lived with her aunt. 

Gola Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (SHO) Amber Singh said the three were brought to the Gola Community Health Center after the accident, where they were declared dead. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and the Hyderabad police station is investigating the case. According to police sources, Hyderabad police station has taken the truck into its custody.
