From the height of 14,000 feet to the depths of the ocean, the Navy and Central forces celebrated Yoga Day.
International Yoga Day is being celebrated across the country. The Indian Navy and Central Armed Forces performed yoga exercises to mark the occasion. The Navy posted on the social media platform 'X', writing, "Calm in mind. Strong in body. Dedicated to service." The Navy further wrote, "On International Yoga Day, the Navy has adopted the theme 'Yoga for Healthy Ageing,' strengthening the foundation for a healthy and mission-ready force.
BJP posted on the social media platform 'X' and wrote, "Resolve to do yoga even in the depths of the ocean. On International Yoga Day, submarine warriors of the Indian Navy gave a wonderful message of discipline, self-confidence and Indian culture by practicing yoga. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans practiced yoga on the occasion of International Yoga Day. CRPF posted on the social media platform 'X' and wrote that yoga for a better future!
"CRPF units across the country celebrated International Yoga Day with mass yoga sessions. CRPF DG GP Singh and senior officers performed yoga at the SDG Camp in New Delhi. In line with this year's theme 'Yoga for Healthy Ageing', their dedication inspires all of us to stay fit and active at every stage of life," the 'X' post from CRPF read.
Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel also celebrated International Yoga Day. "Strengthening body, mind and spirit at an altitude of 14,000 feet," the ITBP wrote on the social media platform 'X.' It further stated that on the occasion of International Yoga Day, the Himveers of the ITBP's 47th Battalion performed yoga on the banks of Pangong Tso in Leh-Ladakh and reiterated their commitment to fitness, endurance and inner strength.
Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel also performed yoga on the occasion of International Yoga Day. CISF posted on the social media platform 'X' that International Yoga Day, Yoga for Healthy Aging. Yoga, a precious gift of India to humanity, promotes harmony between mind, body and nature. It transcends boundaries and promotes stamina, inner strength and holistic well-being for a healthy world.
CISF further wrote, "For CISF, yoga is an integral part of daily life, improving physical fitness, mental strength, and operational preparedness. Through regular practice, CISF personnel maintain a sense of discipline, balance, and well-being, and serve the nation with utmost dedication. On this International Yoga Day, let us embrace this ancient practice and move forward together towards a future filled with peace, balance, and health."
