IndiGo Airlines will operate a flight from Bhopal to Navi Mumbai starting February 1, 2026. A slot has been secured for the winter season. A 186-seater aircraft will operate on this route. The launch of this flight will provide ease of travel for working professionals, businesspeople, students, and tourists, as well as improved connectivity to foreign destinations. This will relieve Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport of its increasing air traffic and passenger pressure.
IndiGo's flight (6E 2297) will depart from Bhopal at 8 am
and arrive in Navi Mumbai at 7:30 am. The flight (6E 2298) to Navi Mumbai will depart from Bhopal's Raja Bhoj Airport at 8 am and arrive in Navi Mumbai at 9:30 am. Ticket sales for this route will begin soon.
Flights to Bengaluru will also begin.
Air India Express has booked a slot for a 189-seater aircraft for the Mumbai-Navi Mumbai route. This flight will further enhance connectivity and make travel easier for passengers. Air India will also begin flights to Bengaluru during the winter season. Currently, three flights operate between Bhopal and Mumbai. Two of these flights are operated by IndiGo and one by Air India.
